Govind is a travel, food and arts writer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. After graduating from Haileybury in 1999, Govind read Politics at the University of Bristol, and completed a Masters degree in Marketing from the University of West of England. He returned to his hometown of Dubai to work in advertising, branding and features journalism before moving to New Delhi as editor of the luxury publication The Robb Report, in 2010. In a writing career spanning over a decade, Govind has amassed credits with publications in India, Italy, USA, UAE and Lebanon. They include the BBC, Wall Street Journal, Conde Nast Traveler, Business Today, Mint, Vogue, GQ, The Khaleej Times, Gulf News, Travel and Leisure, The Huffington Post and Rolling Stone. Govind is married with two children and can often be found seeking rips in the space-time continuum in the hope of seeing Nirvana, live in concert.
